I’ve Written Copy for 15+ Years. Here's How I Trained Claude to Outperform Me in 5 Minutes.

And the 10 .md files you need in your arsenal — whether it's ads, emails, VSLs, webinars, longform or short — plus the one file that turns it all into Picasso-level art in words.

I've been writing copy since before Facebook ran ads. Fifteen years. Sales pages. VSLs. Email runs. Ad campaigns. Webinar scripts. Product launches. Across industries, across countries, across more than a billion dollars in client results.

I've launched products using Jeff Walker's PLF method and been one of his 'elite coaches' when he was still refining it.

I've written the campaigns. Built the funnels. Watched the numbers come in live.

So trust me on this: Claude, fed the right way, writes better first drafts than I do.

Not from a lazy prompt. Not from "write me a sales page about dog food."

Better than me — a guy who dreams in bullet points and wakes up thinking about awareness levels.

The gap isn't the AI. It's what you feed it.

The 10 Files

Most people type "write me an ad" and blame Claude when it reads like a robot.

Claude isn't the problem. Your brief is.

I've built 10 markdown files that sit inside a Claude Project as fixed knowledge. Not templates. Frameworks. Decision trees. The best of what works in direct response — packed into files Claude pulls from on every task.

The 6 That Write the Copy

copywriting.md — The big one. Six lead types matched to five awareness levels. Nine headline formulas. Bullet templates that build curiosity. Proof stacking sequences. Three ad copy structures. Full page outlines for short-form, long-form,and video scripts. Every core method in one file — thousands of words Claude draws on for every task.

vsl-master-framework.md — A 12-section video sales letter blueprint. Time stamps. Slide markers. Pause points. The thinking behind every shift from hook to close.

sales-page-master-template.md — The full build of a long-form page. Pre-head through P.S. Every section mapped with its job and its spot.

email-marketing-1.md — Soap Opera Sequences. Response triggers. Launch runs, nurture flows, win-back campaigns. Not "write an email" — the full map of how emails work together across a buyer's path.

big-idea-development-1.md — How to find the one idea that makes a campaign land. Without a Big Idea and a Unique Mechanism, you're just noise.

marketing-psychology-offer-creation.md — The 15 elements every offer needs before a word of copy gets written. This isn't copy. It's the layer below copy that decides if the words work at all.

The 4 That Build Around It

webinars-virtual-events-1.md — Webinar framework. One-to-many selling. Sign-up and follow-up flows.

high-ticket-sales-scripting-1.md — Call scripts and objection handling for $5K+ offers.

offer-stack-creation-1.md — Price anchoring. Risk reversal. Value stacking. How to make an offer feel like a no-brainer.

product-launch-marketing-1.md — Launch sequences. JV setups. Pre-launch content. I've run more launches than I can count — this file is 15 years of that, packed into a framework Claude can run.

The Picasso File

Ten expert files create a new problem: which one do you use? When? In what combo?

File number 11 fixes that. I call it the Picasso File. Its real name is the Skill Router.

One file.

One routing map.

Ask for a Facebook ad — it grabs the right framework. Ask for a launch plan — it pulls launch, email, and webinar scripts at once.

Ask for a full funnel — it stacks them in the right order.

Picasso didn't just know how to paint. He knew which method fit which subject. When to break the rules. How to mix styles no one had mixed before.

The Skill Router does that for copy.

It doesn't just find knowledge. It runs the show. Ten instruments is nice. A conductor is what makes it music.

The 5-Minute Setup

Create a Claude Project (not a chat, Projects hold knowledge across every new chat).

Write Project Instructions — tell Claude to check the Skill Router on every task, ask for market data first, and run quality checks.

Upload your 10 files + the Skill Router.

Add a target market file — this is the step most people skip. It's the reason their copy reads like it was written for everyone and no one.

Test it.

Type: "Write a Facebook ad for [your offer]."

Watch it pick the right framework, match the awareness level, and build the output, on its own.

You just gave Claude more context than most agencies give their writers in six months.

The Point

Claude isn't mediocre. Your brief is.

Feed it the right frameworks. The right routing. The right market data. It kicks out first drafts that would take a senior writer days.

Ten files. One router. Five minutes.

If you want the files (and maybe a few extras), like this post on my FB wall, and comment "Picasso."
