The Briefing
Meta's AI Agents Now Live Inside Ads Manager. Meta rolled out AI agents that analyze your ad performance and recommend changes — right inside Ads Manager. They also extend into Instagram's Creator Marketplace to match you with creators, and into WhatsApp Business to draft customer replies. If you run paid social, this changes your daily workflow starting now.
Google Workspace Turned Your Drive Into a Brain. Google's Gemini update pulls information from your emails, chats, docs, and the web to generate documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Google Drive is no longer a filing cabinet. It's an active knowledge base that creates assets for you. Marketers with messy Drives just got a massive upgrade.
AI Ad Spend Hits $57 Billion. U.S. advertisers are pushing $57 billion through AI-powered platforms this year — a 63% jump. The money is following the results. If you're still manually managing campaigns without AI optimization, you're competing with one hand tied behind your back.
The "One-Person Company" Goes Mainstream. Chinese tech hubs are building entire local economies around OpenClaw, an open-source AI agent that automates scheduling, email, and workflows. Officials are betting these tools can let one person run a full business. Meanwhile, a Goldman Sachs survey found 93% of business owners report positive results with AI — but only 14% have actually embedded it into daily operations. The gap between "tried it once" and "built it in" is where the money is.
The Build
This week I did something I've been wanting to do for months. I connected my CRM (GoHighLevel) and my Facebook Ads account directly to AI through API integrations. Not through screenshots. Not through copy-paste. Live data, piped straight in.
Here's why this matters: I run marketing for a coaching business. We spend real money on Facebook ads. We have 1000's of contacts in our CRM. And until this week, every time I wanted to analyze performance or make a decision, I was either squinting at dashboards or manually exporting CSVs. The AI could help me write copy, sure — but it couldn't see the actual numbers.
That changed.
The first thing I did was pull the full Facebook Ads account through the API. Campaign structure, spend data, performance metrics — all of it. Then I asked the AI to audit the account. Not "give me general advice about Facebook ads." I said:
Review this Facebook Ads account data. Give me a full audit covering: campaign structure, budget allocation across the funnel, audience performance (warm vs cold), creative performance by format, and specific recommendations. Include the actual numbers.
It came back with a 4-page audit. Real numbers. Real recommendations. Specific budget allocation across funnel stages. Things like: warm custom audiences were outperforming cold targeting by 3-4x on unit economics. The contrarian ad angle was the proven winner. Wide targeting was silently reverting delivery to employees instead of business owners. These weren't generic tips — they were insights from MY data that would have taken me a full day to compile manually.
Then I connected the CRM. Exported contacts with all their tags, engagement signals, and funnel stage data. I asked the AI to score every single contact based on weighted engagement signals — things like workshop attendance, video series completion, call bookings, and application submissions. It categorized them into Very Hot (91 contacts), Hot (64), and Warm (226).
The real unlock was the third step: building test scenarios. I had a squeeze page converting at 17.62%. Instead of guessing what to change, I fed the AI two things: the live page data AND the voice-of-customer research from survey respondents. Then I asked for data-backed headline options.
It didn't give me generic "power words." It gave me headlines rooted in actual survey data — like the fact that 83% of our audience can't leave their business for a month without everything falling apart, or that 40% hold the limiting belief that they "have to work really hard to make money" (and those people scored 14 points lower than everyone else). The winning headline came directly from cross-referencing two datasets the AI could now see simultaneously.
What worked: The speed was the biggest win. A full ad account audit, a scored contact database, and data-backed test scenarios — all done in a few sessions instead of weeks. The AI caught things I'd missed: ad delivery silently shifting to the wrong audience segment, contacts stuck in dead-end funnel stages. The contact scoring was immediately useful — I had prioritized prospect lists I could act on the same day. And the headline test was grounded in real data, not copywriting theory.
What didn't work: The first report the AI generated was based on what it could see in the CRM interface — not the actual data. It gave me vague estimates like "500-800 contacts" when the real number was 12,434.
Lesson: always feed it the raw export, not the UI. Also, bulk-applying the scored tags back into the CRM hit a wall. The import format kept failing. The analysis was solid; the execution back into the system needed manual work. That gap — AI crunches the data, human pushes the buttons — is still real.
The Play
You don't need fancy API integrations to start. You need one export and one prompt.
Go into your CRM or ad platform right now. Export your contact list or campaign data as a CSV. Then feed it to your AI tool with this prompt:
Here is my [CRM contact export / ad campaign data]. Analyze this data and tell me: 1. What patterns do you see in my highest-value contacts/campaigns? 2. Where am I wasting money or missing opportunities? 3. Score or rank my [contacts/campaigns] from highest to lowest priority based on the engagement signals in this data. 4. Give me 3 specific actions I should take this week based on what you found. Be specific. Use the actual numbers from the data.
That's it. One export. One prompt. You'll see things in your own data you've been missing — because you've been too close to it, or because the dashboard doesn't show you the connections between data points.
The analytics-measurement framework in my AI marketing system covers this in depth — how to set up tracking, what metrics actually matter, and how to build a measurement plan that drives decisions instead of collecting dust.

Try this today. Export one dataset from your business — your contact list, your ad campaigns, your email performance. Feed it to AI with the prompt above. Look at what it finds. I guarantee there's at least one insight in your own data that will change what you do tomorrow morning.
