# I Fed Claude 19 Years of My Life. Here's What It Built Me.

Most people use AI to write emails and summarise meetings. I used it to process 48,000 emails, write Python data analysis scripts, build a React Native app from scratch, code and deploy my own website, set up an AI assistant on a dedicated Mac Mini, create a 20-skill marketing intelligence system, design custom graphics, build an entire client growth engine from data science to deployed revenue, and dismantle my entire professional identity using 19 years of hard data.

All through conversation. No dev team. No designers. No agencies. Just me and Claude, deep in the trenches.

Here's what that looks like in practice.

---

## The Data Science

It started with a question I couldn't answer about myself: *what am I actually good at?*

So, I exported my entire Gmail archive — 48,228 emails, 12GB — and worked with Claude to write a custom Python script to process it.

Not a simple scan. A full intelligence extraction: sender analysis, topic clustering, sentiment mapping, energy trajectories, role signal detection, relationship depth scoring. All running locally on a Mac Mini, chewing through 18,482 sent emails spanning 2007 to 2026.

Then came a second script — a "Genius Finder" — that went deeper. It mapped what I talked about, who I helped, how my language changed across eras, and what kind of work I was actually doing versus what I *thought* I was doing.

The result?

Nineteen years of professional communication proved my genius wasn't strategy (0.6%) or simplification (1.2%). It was Supporter (51%) and Builder (47%).

Ninety-seven percent of every professional signal I'd ever sent was either lifting someone up or constructing a system.

I then cross-referenced this with a 15-year Dropbox archive, coaching transcripts, and over 3700 folders, 75,367 files...and compiled a full Intelligence Summary and Genius Profile.

Not motivational guesswork. Data-driven identity documents built from the largest personal dataset I've ever seen analysed.

## The App

Armed with those findings, I built something I'd never built before: Software. For myself.

The Truth Mirror is a React Native accountability app powered by Claude's API. I coded every screen through conversation, pasting prompts, getting code back, testing on my phone, iterating.

No dev team. Just Claude Chat and a text editor.

What exists now: a full chat interface with streaming responses, three-stage conversational onboarding that adapts its tone as trust builds, Mirror Mode (front camera overlaid on the conversation...

Try lying to yourself while looking at your own face), an AI-powered integrity scoring system, custom life categories with trackable targets, image attachments, profile photos, and a "Gunmetal Glass" dark UI I designed through three rounds of visual concepts before landing on the final aesthetic.

The nine-block build architecture includes a Node.js backend server, Supabase user accounts, Apple Health and Calendar integrations, Open Wearables connections for Garmin and Strava, push notifications with AI-generated nudges, RevenueCat subscriptions, and App Store submission. Currently in TestFlight.

Here's what makes it different from every other self-help app: the features were designed from my own data.

Each pattern the email analysis revealed became a product feature — energy monitoring that tracks your language sentiment over time, build-and-burn early warning that detects when you're about to destroy something you've spent months creating, reciprocity tracking that flags when you're depleting yourself for others, and vision drift detection that compares your daily actions against the life you said you wanted.

I wrote the feature specs and prompt engineering, Claude wrote the code.

## The Website

I coded jamesklobasa.com through Claude conversations. A single-page site — positioning document to WordPress-ready HTML and CSS with responsive design, custom Google Fonts, case studies, and CTA architecture.

When my own data proved my positioning was wrong (I'd been calling myself a "strategist" when I'm actually a Supporter and Builder), I scrapped it and rebuilt from scratch.

Every line of code generated through conversation.

## The AI Assistant Infrastructure

I bought a Mac Mini specifically to run an always-on AI assistant called OpenClaw, you “may” have heard of it.

Claude walked me through every step, from unboxing and initial macOS setup (including the moment I realised I needed a TV and a nine-dollar keyboard from Officeworks because you can't bluetooth into a fresh Mac), through Node.js installation, OpenClaw configuration, Telegram bot setup, background service installation, and security hardening with gateway binding and sandboxed permissions.

Then I built the personality layer.

A SOUL.md defining the assistant as a Chief of Staff focused on a specific wealth target.

A USER.md with my full operational brief.

A GENIUS_PROFILE deployed directly from the email analysis.

Specialist sub-agents for copywriting, fitness tracking, business strategy, design, social media, and admin, each with their own identity files and skill sets.

I wrote every configuration file, every identity document, and troubleshot every error message along the way.

Honestly?

Claude itself has since surpassed most of what I built OpenClaw to do. But the Mac Mini still earns its keep for specific tasks, and the process of building it taught me more about AI infrastructure than any course ever could.

## The Marketing Brain

This is where most people's heads would spin. (and my wheelhouse)

Inside my Claude project lives a library of 20+ expert-level marketing skill files, deep frameworks covering copywriting, email sequences, VSL scripts, sales page templates, offer stack creation, campaign architecture, webinar scripts, high-ticket sales scripting, brand strategy, content marketing, analytics, retention, affiliate programs, lead generation, community building, psychology-driven offer creation, and custom ad copy formulas.

Each one is thousands of words of methodology distilled from the best minds in direct response marketing, and written by me, with over a billion dollars in results in mind.

Connecting them all: a custom Skill Router that matches any marketing request to the right framework automatically.

Ask for a Facebook ad and it routes to the ad copy formula.

Ask for a launch plan and it pulls product launch marketing, email sequences, and webinar scripts simultaneously.

Ask for a full funnel and it layers sales funnels, landing pages, upsell scripting, and email marketing in the right order.

I've audited this system twice.

The second time, I consolidated 70 files down to 55, merging duplicate frameworks, eliminating competing references, and ensuring that any search returns one authoritative source instead of fragments from five competing files.

The marketing brain wasn't just built. It was optimised for retrieval quality.

## The Client Work

Everything above was built for me. But the reason it matters is what happened when I pointed all of it at a real business.

For the past 15yrs, I’ve run major client’s entire growth operations...there’s been considerable time spent, yet with technology, more can be done, more effectively.

On a recent build, a coaching business that had no tracking, no systems, and no marketing strategy when I started. What follows is what I've built through Claude conversations and deployed in the real world.

### The Market Intelligence

Before I wrote a single line of copy, I needed to understand the market at a level most agencies never reach.

The client had a free assessment tool that prospects complete before any sales conversation. I exported the full dataset — nearly a 1000 unique respondents across eight CSV files, and wrote Python scripts to combine, deduplicate, and analyse the results.

Not surface-level percentages.

Deep cross-tabulation: segmenting by country, by sentiment, by money beliefs, by leadership confidence, by willingness to accept help. Mapping what separates the people who say yes from the people who say no.

Identifying the exact psychological profile most likely to convert.

That analysis produced a 36,000-word strategic document. The kind of thing a research consultancy would charge six figures for.

It revealed five critical discoveries about the market that now drive every piece of content, every ad, every email I write. Things like: the majority of prospects aren't struggling because they're incompetent, they're struggling because their success strategy is now the problem. They built something that works, but only if they never leave the building.

Then I went deeper.

I deconstructed client testimonials into seven transformation archetypes — specific psychological profiles with their own language patterns, objections, and turning points.

Not personas invented in a boardroom.

Real patterns extracted from real words. I built a Voice of Customer document that captures their exact phrases for pain and transformation, so every piece of copy reads like it was written by someone who's been inside their head.

Combined, these two documents are the "mind-reading" foundation.

When I write an ad that says something specific about their 3am anxiety, it's because the data told me 61% of them are experiencing it.

When I address their guilt about making money, it's because 40% of them hold that exact limiting belief, and they score 14 points lower on every success metric than those who don't.

### The Funnel Architecture

With the intelligence in place, I built the infrastructure. Not templates.

Custom-coded funnels, each one written in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through Claude conversations, then deployed into the client's marketing platform.

The system now includes: five lead magnet funnels (each with a custom squeeze page, automated delivery email, and follow-up sequence), a book sales funnel with post-purchase nurture, four assessment-based training delivery systems that route prospects to personalised content based on their quiz results, a workshop sales page, a program application funnel with webhook integration to their CRM, and a Netflix-style video series.

The video series deserves its own paragraph.

I built a five-episode content delivery system with Vimeo API integration. Progress-locked episodes that only unlock when the previous video is completed, autoplay on episode transition, overlay animations when new content becomes available, and a final call-to-action that triggers when the series is finished.

Building it required multiple iterations debugging Vimeo's player initialization, episode switching logic, and browser autoplay policies.

The kind of problem-solving that would normally require a frontend developer. I did it through conversation, testing each version on screen, and iterating until it worked perfectly.

Every funnel connects through a single automation pipeline.

Leads don't sit in a list, they're actively moved through a personal journey: lead magnet to book purchase to assessment to training to workshop to program application.

Nobody falls through the cracks.

Each stage has custom tags, behavioural triggers, and conditional logic that adapts what people see based on what they've done.

I designed the architecture; Claude helped me build every piece of it.

### The Ad Copy System

This is where my marketing experience and AI capability compound.

I didn't download an ad template. I developed a proprietary copy formula from scratch, a framework with industry-specific technique variations, tone guides, social proof formatting rules, and an edit checklist that every ad must pass before it goes live.

I built it through iteration: writing ads, testing them, analysing what worked, refining the formula, and codifying the patterns into a reusable system.

That formula is now the engine behind every campaign we run.

I also designed the ad graphics. Python scripts using PIL that extract PDF covers at 300dpi, composite them into Facebook ad images with branded colour schemes.

Promotional graphics, blueprint-style framework reveals, stat cards, quote images. All generated through code, all on-brand, all deployed.

### The Email Engine

Every stage of the customer journey needed its own email strategy, not generic templates, but sequences built from the market intelligence and written in the founder's authentic voice.

Book buyer indoctrination. Lead magnet delivery. Program promotion timed around live events. Video series follow-up driving call bookings. Workshop promo sequences. Each one built from the data, using the exact language patterns the research revealed.

I also built a benefit variations library — 50+ benefit statements across six categories so the messaging stays fresh across every touchpoint.

No two pages repeat the same proof points. No two emails use the same hook.

### The Results Infrastructure

Every campaign has full conversion tracking at every stage, landing page views, leads, assessment completions, book purchases, program applications, and call bookings.

I can see exactly where every dollar goes and what it produces across the entire system.

The real result isn't any single number.

It's that a business which was flying blind now has an integrated growth engine that runs on data, not guesswork.

Every piece connects to the next.

Every decision is informed by the market intelligence I built from those initial respondents. And the whole thing was constructed through conversation.

## The Point

People ask me what tools I use. The answer is one tool, used at a depth most people haven't considered possible.

I wrote Python scripts to process 12GB of personal data and market research. I coded a React Native app screen by screen. I built and rebuilt websites. I set up a dedicated Mac Mini with a multi-agent AI assistant. I created a 20-skill marketing intelligence system and then audited and optimised it for retrieval quality.

I designed and deployed an entire client growth engine, from data science to custom-coded funnels to ad systems to email sequences to conversion tracking.

I designed UIs, wrote ad campaigns, built email systems, produced positioning documents, case studies, and thought leadership content. I created promotional graphics through Python code and built a Netflix-style video delivery platform through JavaScript. I developed a proprietary ad copy formula through iterative testing and codified it into a reusable system.

All from the same seat. All through the same tool.

I'm not a developer. I'm not a data scientist. I'm not a designer. I'm a marketing strategist that builds and supports, one who decided to go all-in with one tool and see how deep the rabbit hole goes.

It goes deep.
